Polydamp Constrained Layer Damping Composite, PCLD2-080-PSA, is a technologically advanced formulation that offers superior damping performance at a reduced weight over traditional mastic constrained layer and asphaltic extensional dampers. It is an extruded rubber based damping system with a 3 mil aluminum foil on one side designed to reduce structure-borne sound.Excellent damping performance is maintained from 10°F to 140°F. Available in an 8 square foot sheet it comes standard with an aggressive PSA backing.Applications include auto floor pans and doors, metal trays, carts, major appliances, and construction equipment.
